Joe has been playing Harry's music since 1985 and assembles roughly 32-36 songs for a complete evening with his favorite Harry Chapin songs! Gather your friends and book a private or public show! You can hear such Chapin favorites as Corey's Coming, Mr. Tanner, Old College Avenue, and more! Yes, Cat's in the Cradle is a focal point of the show!
Living in St Augustine Florida, Joe plays the circuit approximately 340 times per year and is not consigned to just Chapin. His library of music spans early 70's storytellers to the Grateful Dead. He is the founder of St Augustine Grateful Dead tribute; Not Quite Dead and has also assembled another band, Dave's Not Here, to cover more of the jam band scene like the Allman Brothers, Phish, Gov't Mule, and Dave Matthews.
Remember When the Music...
Joe fashions his performances around storytelling and talking with the audience by adopting some of the same storytelling mannerisms as his predecessors, Harry Chapin and Kris Kristofferson. Joe likes to make the audience feel like they are part of the show!
